The Alarm Module

Export of a product includes a number of activities starting from Buyers' enquiry till realisation. Each activity has to be performed within a particular time frame after the previous activity for effective export. Also, some activities are performed simultaneously after a specific activity.

The period or the time gap between any two activities is quite flexible and may vary on the basis of the priority given to the orders by the exporter. It would be beneficial for the exporter if the system prompts the user of the pending activities for all the orders.

The current Export Management System tracks the pending work for the following activities.

• Creating quotations for enquiries.
• Confirming Orders.
• Creating Pre-shipment Invoices (Full Shipment).
• Creating Pre-shipment Invoices (Part Shipment).
• Creating Export Invoices.

A generated report gives the details of the pending work.
