" Both portals are under development and

to improve on the distribution of its Export
Management System and Encryption software -
Export Management System (EMS) and Cryptic.
The company is currently looking at distributors
for both the software packages.
"We are talking to various distributors
as well as export consultants and software firms
for the distribution of the shrink-wrapped version
of the EMS. Earlier we used to do a lot of customization,
but now we will push the shrink-wrapped version.
We would like to increase the reach of the product
in the Indian market," said Anil Chandhok,
CEO and President of Chenab Information Technologies.

plans two SDCs in Mumbai

Mumbai
based Chenab Information Technologies is planning
to set up two software development centers (SDC's),
which will be used exclusively for developing
Web enabled solutions. These development centers,
which will be solely targeting the export market,
will be set up at an investment of RS. 2 crore.
"The reason for having two additional units
dedicated for development of Web-enabled solutions
is simple as e-commerce and other web-enabled
solutions are a big concept in the west and
we expect to get a lot of business in this area.
We will be increasing our effort in the Web
solutions business and expect the number of
clients to increase fast," said Anil Chandhok,
CEO and President of Chenab Information Technologies.
